故宫又叫紫禁城,是明清两代皇帝上朝和居住、生活的地方。共有8700多间房间。设想一个人一天参观一个房间,要花三十年才能走完呢!
太和殿试中轴线上最大的宫殿。远远望去,金色的瓦,红色的墙,汉白玉的基座,在蓝天白云下显得高大雄伟、金碧辉煌。走进一看,只见柱子上、门窗上到处雕刻着腾云驾雾的龙。这是皇帝尊贵的象征,在古时候是不允许出现在普通的建筑上的。让我印象最深的是一块铺在台阶上得龙云石,长十几米,宽3米,重2500多吨。这么大这么重的一块石头,是怎么运过来的呢?聪明的古代劳动人民想出了一个好办法:冬天,北京天气很冷,水在室外一下就结成了冰。他们就在运输的道路上,每隔几百米挖一口井啊,把井里的水洒到地上、石头上,过一会儿,就结成了冰。路面和石头只见就会变得很光滑了,然后再绑上绳子,成千上万的人拉着绳子,慢慢地就把石头拖到了这里。
出了故宫,我们就登上了对面的景山,在高处远眺故宫的全景。原来,我们刚才从上午九点到下午二点花了五小时才走了中轴线那一小部分,东西两面还有许多的地方我们没有去,故宫真大啊!

this is the palace museum; also know as the purple forbidden city. it is the largest and most well reserved imperial residence in china today. beijing forbidden city is the head of the world's top five palace. the forbidden city was built begin in 1406 and it took 14 years to built it. the first ruler who actually lived here was ming emperor zhudi. north to south is 961 meters, and 753 meters from east to west. and the area of about 725,000 square meters. the imperial palace has 8704 rooms. in 1987 the forbidden city was recognized a world cultural legacy.
it is believed that the palace museum, or zi jin cheng (purple forbidden city), got its name from astronomy folklore, the ancient astronomers divided the constellations into groups and centered them around the ziwei yuan (north star) . the constellation containing the north star was called the constellation of heavenly god and star itself was called the purple palace. because the emperor was supposedly the son of the heavenly gods, his central and dominant position would be further highlighted the use of the word purple in the name of his residence. in folklore, the term ―an eastern purple cloud is drifting‖ became a metaphor for auspicious events after a purple cloud was seen drifting eastward immediately before the arrival of an ancient philosopher, laozi, to the hanghu pass. here, purple is associated with auspicious developments. the word jin (forbidden) is self-explanatory as the imperial palace was heavily guarded and off-explanatory as the imperial palace was heavily guarded and off-limits to ordinary people.

我印象最深的是辉煌的故宫。这里有许多有意思的事,我从来都没有听说过。故宫是在公元1368年建成的,这里居住过24位清朝皇帝,我感觉里面最漂亮的就是太和殿、乾清宫和午门。
午门是紫禁城的正门,是最大最雄伟最华丽的入口,也是通往紫禁城的主要城门。此门居中向阳,位当子午,故命名午门,又称玉凤楼。午门的门楼边有两座阙亭,内设钟鼓,何时击鼓都有规定。
通过午门进入紫禁城有严格的规定,当中的正门平时只有皇帝才能出入,皇帝大婚时,皇后可以进一次,殿试考中状元、榜眼、探花的三个人可以从此门出宫一次。在清代,文武大臣出入左侧门,宗室王公出入右侧门。皇帝在午门外广场杖打犯有过失的大臣。
太和殿是紫禁城中的“至尊金殿”,即大家所称的“金銮宝殿”,这里是皇帝举行重大朝典之地。初建于明永乐十八年(1402年),初名奉天殿。这个大殿有72条支柱,分6排支撑着屋顶,门窗上有云和金龙的浮雕。
乾清宫建筑规模为内廷之首,作为明代皇帝的寝宫,共有14位皇帝在这居住过,这是皇帝批阅奏章的重要场所!
其实给我触动最大的是放在每一个大殿外两侧的很大的“铜缸”,第一眼看到的是缸周围一道道的划痕,我以为原来就是这样的,也没多想。听导游叔叔讲,这里的每一个“铜缸”本来是很漂亮的,外面都有一层厚厚的镀金,八国联军侵入北京后,本打算将这些“铜缸”都搬回自己的国家的,但是因为太重了,没法运输,它们就用刺刀将外面的镀金一刀一刀的刮掉带走。虽然现在没有再进行任何的美化,但还是要摆放在这里,就是要警示我们每一个中国人,勿忘国耻,也让我知道了“少年强、则国强”这句话的意义,我一定要努力学习,让自己成为一个有用的人。
